Advisory - Commissioner Jones continues to speak at climate week in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — California Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones is speaking and participating in climate change conferences and events in San Francisco throughout the week, including the Governor's Global Climate Action Summit (GCAS).
Jones will discuss actions and initiatives he has taken with regard to climate risk and insurance, including leading the administration of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' Climate Risk Disclosure Survey, his Climate Risk Carbon Initiative, his first-in-nation stress test analysis of insurance company investment portfolios, his international work with the Sustainable Insurance Forum, and his recently released report titled Trial by Fire: Managing Climate Risks Facing Insurers in the Golden State.
