Train-the-Trainers
Given California's vast and diverse landscape, we believe a more comprehensive approach is essential to drive behavioral change and ensure consistent education for families. To optimize our reach, our train-the-trainers model is designed to reach consumers in targeted ways. We will be responsible for building partnerships with local organizations, creating materials for outreach, and overseeing new partner organizations and agencies. CDI will collaborate closely to support and create a local strategy for engaging the communities you already serve.
Train the Trainers trainings will take place at the end of each month, simply register for the training to get started!
The trained staff will engage in traditional grassroots activities such as:
- Door-to-door outreach
- Flyer distribution
- Organize educational presentations
- Network at community events
- Etc.
The tools provided through the Partnership Initiative will support the train-the-trainer teams as they carry out their efforts. Simply click on the toolkit or the social media in the language of preference you wish to focus your outreach, then print or post and begin your work on the ground.
Our Approach
Reach Californians where people live, work, eat, shop, worship, gather and help them better understand the role of insurance in their lives by enlisting trusted messengers to build a friendly consumer and trusted experience. We are focused on engaging agencies/organizations that work with California’s largest uninsured and underinsured populations and gather information to engagement strategy to ensure we are communicating and addressing challenges to ensure access.
Our Goals
1) Increase consumer awareness of CDI’s role, responsibilities and available services
2) Expand awareness of insurance access and fraud prevention
3) Establish a CDI train the trainers model around Insurance Access & Information
