Video: California leaders urge legislature to adopt bills to protect wildfire survivors
California Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones, Senator Bill Dodd, and Senator Mike McGuire are standing up for consumers and calling on the legislature to support three proposed bills designed to strengthen consumer protections for wildfire survivors making insurance claims who struggle to recover, rebuild, and move forward. SB 894 (Dodd), SB 897 (McGuire) and SB 1291 (Dodd) would bring much needed relief for consumers and reforms to the insurance industry.
