Video - Lilac fire survivors warned of scam artists and unlicensed contractors
The Department of Insurance is teaming up with Contractors State License Board and the San Diego County District Attorney's Office to educate residents and homeowners about steps they can take to protect themselves from unlicensed or unscrupulous contractors and other scam artists that might target vulnerable wildfire victims as they begin to recover and rebuild.
