Health Insurance Covered Lives Report
Purpose
Pursuant to California Insurance Code Section 10127.19, the purpose of this page is to provide a report of the number of covered lives under health insurance plans and administrative service only (ASO) plans issued by California Department of Insurance licensees. What follows is a list of the documents contained in the report, as well as, some definitions of the terms found in the tables.
These documents have been prepared based on information provided by CDI licensees responding to our annual data collection of health and disability plans. The information reported is based on a point-in-time measuring covered lives as of December 31, 2023. It is important to note that changes in a company's business plan and / or other factors may subject the data to significant changes over time.
